"The Hunt Begins"

On the first Saturday every November is the Opening Day of the Iroquois Hunt Club. This renowned hunt assembles on the grounds of their historic club on Grimes Mill Road for the annual "Blessing of the Hounds". The hounds are blessed by the Episcopal Bishop of Lexington, as well members and guests . Certain members also receive hunt medallions. Then it's off to the hunt! It is a grand fall event to watch and to hilltop following the hounds.
